Zaytoen La Grange
A bit about us....
Epic originated in Muizenberg in 2006 under the name Copy, Coffee & Bytes.
In 2011 it was purchased by Tony Smith and rebranded under the new name of Epic Print and became more of a printing and design business. Tony’s ethos for Epic Print was to serve the’ short to medium’ term printing needs of the local communities. He wanted to present a friendly and professional face to its customers. After 6 years of successfully growing the business Tony made the reluctant decision to sell as he was relocating to the UK.
As a friend of Tony, Philip Mason had seen Epic establish itself as a successful and respected business and when the opportunity to purchase arose he did not hesitate and the sale was finalised in November 2017.
From the UK originally Philip has many years of managerial and ownership experience and will supply continued leadership, focus and motivation to the business.
One of the main determining factors in the purchase was the quality of the staff already working there. It may be a high tech printing and design company but it is the warm and friendly attitude of the people working there and the quick turnaround and emphasis on quality that gives it its edge.
Shakira Parker-Steed has worked here since 2008 and it is her digital print knowledge, her design skills and her customer service attitude that makes her position as overall manager vital in the smooth running of the company.
Zaytoen is our front of house friendly face welcoming you when you enter our Muizenberg shop. She is relatively a newcomer since 2016 but is willing and able to help with all your printing needs in keeping with our mission to be a friendly and professional operation.
Chia helps us to run a clean and efficient operation as well as assisting with basic but important printing jobs.
Welcome to Epic Print and we hope you will become and continue to be a satisfied customer of the South Peninsula’s fastest growing print business.
